A Penny for your thought

In the last several months I have discovered a new love of scary movies, shows, or anything to do with ghosts and things that go bump in the night. Yes I know this is kind of strange, but I started watching show on A&E called "Paranormal State" and fell in love with it. The show is about a group of students from Penn State who go to different families houses and investigate any paranormal activity. For example, witnessing apparitions or objects flying across the room, and even possesions! I myself have never been one to believe in such a thing, I was the "I'll believe it when I see it" type of person. This show completely changed the way I perceived the whole spirit world all together. It's kind of hard to explain but it really furthered my belief in God and an afterlife. My dad and I were watching an episode of "Paranormal State" and he asked me did this make me believe in God more or less, and without a doubt my answer was definitely MORE. It's weird.. the first time a saw the show was the day after my grandmother died, we always were pretty close.. maybe it was a sign that she wanted me to know she's with me. ;) None the less a show you should really check out when you get the chance, surely won't be one you forget!
After I saw this show I became obsessed with watching other scary movies and shows that had to do with hauntings and such. Things like "Ghost Adventures" on the travel channel and any movie I could find. I just finished reading a book called The Myrtles Plantation and it was GREAT!
I strongly recommend it to those who enjoy reading and a good thrill. It's amazing what all the author went through. I'm not exactly sure what the point of this blog was except to share something that doesn't always get talked about, something you may not see anywhere else, hey aren't your parents always telling you, you need to expand your horizons? Mine always did :)
