A new year!

I'm obviously not good at this whole blogging thing! I'm i'm learning... This new year has brought me many new things! :) I have a new "friend" in my life and new classes this semester of course and not necessarily "new" freinds but good friends becoming great friends.

I couldn't be happier with the direction that my life is going. I don't think I've ever been this happy! I know people say that all the time but... yeah I really mean it :) Anyway for new year's eve my friends and I went down to Destin, Florida. We rented a little town house that was on the bay and it was beautiful. We had the most fun I've had in a while. And I can safely say this because 9 other girls and 2 guys went and there was not the first fight! Now I'm not one to argue about petty little things because I just don't really care haha.. but we all know how girls are! So having said that you should pretty much see where I'm coming from being surprised and ecstatic that there was no drama! Woohoo! Back to the point.. if there is one? It was just a really fun time. We went to several bars in the baytown warf and had a blast! For those of you who haven't been there you should go! And try Fat Tuesday's daquri bar! Yummy!

I also started new classes this semester as do all college students ;) and I have pretty decent classes. I'm taking Marriage and Family in the Global Contex, Global Consumer Culture, Nutrition and Health, and Survey of Life (Biology).. for those who don't know my major is Human Development and Family Studies (Marriage and Family Therepy essentially). I think I'm just excited that I'm finally done with my core classes and on to stuff that actually has something to do with my major. I love the whole disection of marriage and family.. it fascinates me! I really can't wait till I can out into the real world and do something with it! (3 more years!) Not sure where i was going with this blog but I think i'm gonna end on that note! Thanks for reading!
